Earlier today, Samsung officially launched two flagship smartphones named Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ in New York, United States.

Between the two, the Galaxy Note 10+ that really caught my attention because it has a larger size and higher hardware specifications compared to the Galaxy Note 10.

SCREEN & CAMERA

This smartphone has a screen with a width of 6.8 inches with a resolution of WQHD + (3040 x 1440 pixels), Dynamic AMOLED technology, HDR10 +, and protected by scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass.

Besides being able to display bright and sharp contests, Samsung is able to embed a fingerprint sensor on the inside of the screen with a fast fingerprint response thanks to the use of Dynamic AMOLED.

While the Galaxy Note 10+ has an Infinity-O design that makes a front-filled screen with a thin bezel and punch hole right in the middle. Inside the punch hole is a front camera that has a 10MP resolution with f / 2.2 aperture and Dual-Pixel PDAF that is able to pamper its users in taking selfies.

Following current trends, the Galaxy Note 10+ is also equipped with four rear cameras that have a 12 MP main camera configuration (f / 1.5 aperture and, f / 2.4), 12 MP telephoto camera (f / 2.1 aperture), 16 ultra-wide camera MP (aperture f / 2.2), and 3D VGA ToF camera.

The main camera can determine the aperture according to the ambient light conditions, where the Galaxy Note 10+ will use f / 1.5 aperture in low light conditions or at night. While in high light or daytime conditions will use f / 2.4 aperture.

The main camera is also equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) which is able to stabilize photos or videos so as to minimize the occurrence of disturbing motion blur. In addition, Samsung has also provided support for stable 4K video recording using the main camera.

The rear telephoto camera also has an OIS and is able to do far distance photos up to 2x Optical Zoom. Furthermore, the ultra-wide rear camera is capable of producing photos with a large area up to an angle of 123 degrees

Interestingly, the 3D ToF camera that is present on this smartphone is capable of scanning objects in the real world and turning them into 3D objects using the 3D Scanner application built-in with the Galaxy Note 10+.

Compared to the previous generation S-Pen which can be a remote control for cameras and presentations thanks to the presence of Bluetooth, the S-Pen presented on the Galaxy Note 10+ has the additional features of a 6 Axis Gyroscope sensor and an accelerometer.

With the presence of these additional features makes S-Pen able to adjust the camera zoom, change the live focus mode, and change a various photo or video modes on the Galaxy Note 10+ camera.
