OPTIC AXCESS -- LG Launches LG UltraFine Monitor with 5K Resolution. LG is one of the companies from South Korea that has managed to sell a variety of monitors in the world.
LG recently launched the latest LG UltraFine series monitor with a model number 27MD5KL. This monitor is intended for the needs of design and creative professionals, such as designers, photographers, and videographers.
The advantages of this monitor can be seen from a screen that has a width of 27 inches with support for resolutions of up to 5K (5120 x 2880 pixels), DCI-P3 technology, and a wide color gamut that is capable of displaying images well plus rich colors.
With a brightness of 500 nits, make the image displayed more optimal without having to be calibrated first. Meanwhile, the LG UltraFine 5K monitor has more than 14.7 million pixels, making images and text look sharp and detailed.
This much pixel also feels useful when users do work with multiple windows (lots of windows). IPS technology support on this screen allows users to still see content up to an angle of 178 degrees.
To provide an attractive multimedia experience, this monitor is also equipped with a camera, stereo speakers and a microphone. In terms of connections, this monitor offers USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 ports.

With the presence of these two ports supports, it allows LG UltraFine 5K to be able to connect with Mac, Mac desktop and iPad Pro notebooks easily. Meanwhile, this USB Type-C port can be used to charge Mac.
This monitor is also equipped with a light sensor that will provide optimal comfort while being used by users because this sensor will adjust brightness levels depending on the surrounding environment.
Thanks to its compatibility with macOS Mojave 10.14.6, users can adjust the brightness and audio levels directly from the Touch Bar and Keyboard of the MacBook Pro. Meanwhile, this monitor also supports the iOS 12.4 operating system for the iPad Pro.
